Recommended for:

• TeSR™-E6 medium can be used for differentiation protocols, screening assays and other applications. Customers should add appropriate cytokines and growth factors for their specific applications. For applications where insulin is not desired, TeSR™-E5 may be used.

• TeSR™-E6 is not suitable for maintenance of human ES and iPS cells or reprogramming to iPS cells. Fully optimized media should be used for maintenance of human ES and iPS cells (TeSR™-E8™, mTeSR™1 or TeSR™2) and reprogramming to human iPS cells (TeSR™-E7™).
